Your squad follows you in formation and fights around you. You deal more damage and take less, but leading drains energy.

Tactics
Spears break cavalry. Cavalry rides down archers. Swords cut through spears and archers.
Loose order halves arrow and stone damage. Legionaries in square form the testudo.
Hoplites in a standing line form the phalanx. Cavalry in wedge charge harder.
Squads gain rank from kills. Temples heal soldiers who rest near them.
